Role Overview
We are seeking a Part-Time Consultant Dermatologist to join our Dermatology clinic located on OMR, Chennai. This on-site role involves providing dermatology consultations. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating skin and hair conditions, offering expert consultations, performing cosmetic procedures, and guiding patients on skincare routines and preventive care. The role involves conducting dermatology consultations, managing skin and hair concerns, and performing aesthetic procedures tailored to individual patient needs. Flexible consulting hours can be discussed based on availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients through detailed consultations and clinical assessments
- Diagnose and manage various skin, hair, and scalp conditions
- Create personalized treatment plans based on patient concerns and medical history
- Perform and supervise aesthetic dermatology procedures and advanced therapies
- Educate patients on skincare routines, preventive care, and treatment expectations
- Prescribe medications and recommend suitable clinical or cosmetic solutions
- Track treatment progress and modify protocols when necessary
- Maintain high standards of ethics, patient safety, and confidentiality
- Stay updated with current trends and advancements in dermatology and aesthetic medicine
- Collaborate with the clinic team to ensure a smooth patient experience
Eligibility & Qualifications
- MBBS with MD/DNB/DDVL in Dermatology
- Valid medical registration/license
- Strong understanding of clinical and aesthetic dermatology procedures
- Excellent communication and patient counseling skills
- Freshers with good academic background as well as experienced dermatologists are encouraged to apply
Preferred Skills
- Experience in cosmetic procedures, lasers, injectables, or hair restoration treatments is an added advantage
- Ability to build patient trust through ethical and transparent consultation practices
