We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team and support the company’s accounting and financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions and financial records.
- Prepare and record journal entries, vouchers, invoices, and payment transactions.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer accounts regularly.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Manage GST filings, TDS calculations, and other statutory compliances.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and tax authorities when required.
- Process employee reimbursements and maintain expense records.
- Monitor outstanding payments and follow up on receivables.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (B.Com/M.Com preferred).
- 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Experience in GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, or ERP systems.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in the real estate, construction, or interior industry will be an added advantage.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
