We are expanding our team and are looking for skilled Mechanical Fitters with experience in fabrication, machine assembly, and industrial equipment installation. Position: Mechanical Fitter – Fabrication & Machine Assembly
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabrication, fitting, and assembly of machine components and fabricated structures.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, assembly drawings, and fabrication drawings.
- Perform marking, cutting, drilling, tapping, grinding, and fitting operations.
- Assemble conveyors, machine frames, rollers, shafts, gearboxes, bearings, motors, and other mechanical components.
- Carry out alignment, leveling, and mechanical adjustments during machine assembly.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, dial gauges, and measuring tapes.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy and maintain quality standards during fabrication and assembly.
- Assist in machine installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Coordinate with fabrication, machining, and design teams to complete projects on schedule.
Candidate Requirements:
- ITI Fitter / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
- Experience in fabrication, machine building, or industrial equipment assembly is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of welding and fabrication practices is beneficial.
- Basic understanding of mechanical components and manufacturing processes.
- Freshers with strong technical knowledge and willingness to learn are also welcome to apply.
- Candidates should be sincere, hardworking, and ready to work in a production environment.
