About the Role :
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager with a strong background in Mechanical Engineering and expertise in CAE/CFD simulation solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying opportunities, building client relationships, and selling advanced engineering and simulation solutions across manufacturing and automotive sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, develop, and generate new business opportunities in CAE/CFD simulation services and solutions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in manufacturing and automotive industries.
Understand customer requirements and propose tailored engineering/simulation solutions .
Drive the complete sales cycle: lead generation, qualification, proposal, negotiation, and closure.
Collaborate with technical teams to deliver effective solution presentations and demos
Develop strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
Track market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
Represent the organization in client meetings, industry events, and conferences.
Skills & Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (MBA or business background preferred)
6+ years of experience in Business Development / Sales in engineering or technology domain
Strong understanding of CAE/CFD tools and simulation services.
Proven experience in selling technology-driven solutions.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve targets
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with OEMs, Tier 1/Tier 2 suppliers, or engineering service companies
Exposure to tools like ANSYS, Siemens, Altair, or similar simulation platforms
Strong industry network in manufacturing/automotive sector
