We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Designer to join our jewelry design team. The candidate will be responsible for translating design briefs into high-quality 3D CAD models for manufacturing, ensuring aesthetic and technical precision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create 2D and 3D CAD designs for gold, silver, and brass jewelry (rings, earrings, necklaces, etc.)
- Collaborate with designers and production team to finalize designs for manufacturing
- Ensure technical accuracy, correct dimensions, and stone placement in CAD files
- Modify designs based on feedback and quality checks
- Maintain a catalog of all CAD designs with proper file management
- Work on renderings and prototyping support (if required)
Key Skills Required:
- Proficiency in CAD software (Rhino, Matrix, MatrixGold, JewelCAD, ZBrush, etc.)
- Understanding of jewelry manufacturing process (casting, stone setting, etc.)
- Attention to detail, creativity, and ability to meet deadlines
- Knowledge of gemstone sizes, settings, weights, and tolerances
- Basic understanding of CAM and rendering software is a plus
