Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Team Lead – Academic Sales to lead and manage a team of Academic Counsellors. The ideal candidate must have proven experience in the Education or EdTech sector, particularly in handling Academic Counsellors, supporting the team in achieving sales targets, improving conversions, and driving overall team performance.
The candidate should have strong leadership and sales skills, with the ability to train, guide, motivate, and support team members throughout the admission and sales process.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Academic Counsellors.
- Act as the reporting head and provide regular guidance and support to the team.
- Monitor daily follow-ups, lead management, conversions, and team productivity.
- Support Academic Counsellors in handling prospects and closing admissions.
- Ensure the team achieves daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Conduct regular training sessions to improve sales, communication, counselling, and closing skills.
- Identify performance gaps and provide necessary coaching and support to team members.
- Motivate the team and maintain a positive, target-oriented work environment.
- Monitor team performance and prepare regular reports for management.
- Handle escalations and support the team in converting important leads.
- Develop effective strategies to improve admissions and overall sales performance.
Candidate Requirements
- Mandatory experience as a Team Lead in Education / EdTech Sales.
- Experience in handling and managing a team of Academic Counsellors is highly preferred.
- Strong experience in academic sales, admissions, counselling, and lead conversion.
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets and improve team performance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, training, and team management skills.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and closing abilities.
- Ability to support, mentor, and motivate team members effectively.
Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹35,000 per month
Location: Calicut, Kerala
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
