We at Seere Santhe By Rapid Rashmi and Radha by Rapid Rashmi, are looking for a Purchase Manager who will be responsible for sourcing high-quality sarees, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring timely procurement aligned with the brand’s standards and market trends. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of fabrics, regional weaves.
Key Responsibilities
1 Vendor Sourcing & Management
- Identify and onboard reliable saree manufacturers, weavers, and wholesalers across India
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers from key textile hubs.
2 Product Selection & Buying
- Curate saree collections based on current trends, seasonal demand, and customer preferences
- Ensure a mix of traditional, contemporary, and exclusive designs
3 Price Negotiation & Quality Control
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and bulk purchase deals to optimize cost without compromising quality
- Ensure all purchased sarees meet quality standards in terms of fabric, craftsmanship, and finishing
4 Inventory Planning
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to forecast demand and maintain optimal inventory levels
5 Market Research & Logistics Coordination
- Stay updated on fashion trends, competitor offerings, and emerging weaving techniques
- Oversee timely delivery of products and coordinate with logistics partners
Required Skills & Qualifications
- At least 2- 3 years of experience in textile/saree purchasing or fashion retail buying
- Strong knowledge of Indian fabrics, handlooms, and regional saree varieties
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills
- Good understanding of inventory management and supply chain processes
- Ability to identify trends and customer preferences
