About the Role We are looking for creative, technical problem solvers to join our Intelligent Process Automation advisory practice, advising clients on the use of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Cognitive Technologies. As a developer on the RPA team, you will deliver value to clients working as both an individual contributor and by directing the efforts of seniors on the team. You will be part of a team that interfaces with ISG teams in North America and Europe to design, develop, and deploy RPA solutions for clients globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical aspects of RPA implementation projects and initiatives as an individual contributor or team player.
- Develop and document RPA configuration best practices, configuring new RPA processes and objects using core workflow principles.
- Lead client interactions with various IT teams, including architecture, security, and administration during pre-sales and implementation.
- Drive the strategic and tactical roll-out of the RPA solution to clients by creating and documenting test procedures and scenarios.
- Own and develop RPA Body of Knowledge (BoK) and manage training and partner technology accreditation of RPA team members.
- Perform client-facing work, potentially traveling to client sites in North America and Europe.
- Mentor junior developers and perform code reviews for quality control.
Requirements
- Have 3+ years of professional services experience, preferably on automation and/or integration projects.
- Understand software development methodology, configuration management, and lifecycle.
- Have experience with RPA software tools, such as UiPath and Automation Anywhere.
- Have experience with cognitive software tools.
- Have experience with C# and/or Java, html, css, and Microsoft Technology (VB .NET, Windows, Internet Explorer, SQL Server, Web Services).
- Have experience with scripting languages (e.g., python, perl, powershell, bash, vbs, etc.).
- Have an IT or Business Degree.
Good to Have
- Certification in UiPath or Automation Anywhere.
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma (Yellow Belt or above).
- Willingness to work in American or European client locations' timezones with limited overlap as required.
