Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and result-oriented Travel Sales Consultant to join our travel team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for selling domestic and international tour packages, handling customer inquiries, and converting leads into confirmed bookings.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound sales inquiries via phone, WhatsApp, email, and walk-in clients
- Understand customer travel requirements and suggest suitable tour packages
- Explain package details including itinerary, hotels, transport, inclusions, exclusions, and pricing
- Prepare customized tour quotations and follow up with clients
- Convert inquiries into bookings and achieve monthly sales targets
- Coordinate with operations team for booking confirmations and service delivery
- Maintain customer database and update booking details accurately
- Handle customer queries, modifications, and post-sales support
- Stay updated with new destinations, offers, and travel trends
- Manage domestic & international flight bookings via GDS (Amadeus)
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate / Diploma in Travel & Tourism
- Good communication skills in English and local language (Hindi/Malayalam preferred)
- Sales-oriented mindset with convincing ability
- Knowledge of domestic and international tour packages is an advantage
- Ability to work under targets and deadlines
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, Email, CRM tools)
- Pleasant personality and customer-friendly attitude
