1. Job Summary
The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring quality standards and procedures are followed during construction activities. The role involves inspection, testing, documentation, and coordination to ensure that all construction works meet project specifications, drawings, codes, and client requirements.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Quality Planning & Implementation
- Implement QA/QC systems at project sites.
- Ensure compliance with specifications, drawings, and standards.
- Prepare Quality Plans, Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), and Method Statements.
B. Site Inspection & Quality Control
- Conduct inspections of civil, structural, and finishing works.
- Monitor workmanship quality of contractors and subcontractors.
- Ensure materials comply with approved specifications.
- Verify execution of works as per approved drawings and BOQ.
C. Testing & Materials Control
- Coordinate material testing (concrete, steel, soil, aggregates, etc.).
- Review test reports and ensure compliance.
- Approve materials and ensure proper storage at site.
D. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain QA/QC documentation, checklists, inspection reports, and test records.
- Prepare NCR, CAR, and PAR reports.
- Prepare weekly and monthly quality reports.
- Assist in internal and external quality audits.
E. Coordination & Communication
- Coordinate with project engineers, site engineers, consultants, and clients.
- Participate in site meetings and quality review meetings.
- Provide technical guidance to site teams.
F. Continuous Improvement
- Identify quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Support ISO 9001 implementation.
- Promote best practices in quality management.
3. Qualifications & Experience
Educational Qualification:
- Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or related field.
- QA/QC or ISO certification preferred.
Experience:
2–6 years of experience in construction quality control.
4. Skills & Competencies
- Knowledge of construction methods and standards.
- Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of IS codes and testing procedures.
- Documentation and reporting skills.
- Communication and coordination skills.
- MS Word and Excel proficiency.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
