We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CA Article Trainees to join our dynamic audit team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals pursuing their Chartered Accountancy qualification to gain hands-on experience in statutory audits, income tax audits, and internal audits. As a CA Article Trainee, you will work closely with experienced professionals and contribute to a variety of audit engagements, gaining valuable exposure to different aspects of auditing and taxation.
Key Responsibilities:
Statutory Audit:
- Assist in planning and executing statutory audits in accordance with applicable auditing standards and regulations.
- Perform audit procedures to assess the accuracy and completeness of financial statements.
- Prepare working papers and documentation to support audit findings and conclusions.
- Review internal controls and identify areas for improvement.
Income Tax Audit:
- Support the team in conducting income tax audits, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Prepare tax audit reports and documentation.
- Assist in analyzing financial statements to determine tax liabilities and ensure accurate reporting.
Internal Audit:
- Participate in internal audit engagements to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management processes.
- Assist in identifying areas of operational inefficiency and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Prepare internal audit reports and follow up on audit findings.
General Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and stay updated on relevant accounting and auditing standards, tax regulations, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality audit services and meet client expectations.
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders to address audit-related queries and concerns.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive financial information.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing CA (Chartered Accountancy) and have completed the relevant CA foundation and intermediate exams.
- Strong academic background in accounting and finance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
