We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented 3D Printed Part Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in painting various 3D printed surfaces and ensuring high-quality finishes. The 3D Printed Part Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paints, varnishes, and other finishes, and ensuring high-quality work and customer satisfaction.
On-Site Full-Time
- Surface Preparation: Clean, sand, and prime 3D printed parts in preparation for painting.
- Paint Selection and Mixing: Choose and mix paints, varnishes, and other finishes to achieve the desired colour and texture suitable for 3D printed materials.
- Application of Finishes: Apply paints, varnishes, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers to 3D printed parts.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure a high-quality finish and adherence to safety and environmental regulations specific to 3D printed materials.
- Repair and Touch-Up: Perform repair and touch-up work on existing painted 3D printed parts.
- Maintenance: Maintain and clean equipment, tools, and work areas.
- Project Execution: Follow blueprints, specifications, and instructions to complete painting projects for 3D printed parts.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members and communicate effectively with supervisors.
- Record Keeping: Keep accurate records of materials used and time spent on projects.
- Industry Updates: Stay updated on industry trends, new techniques, and safety practices related to painting 3D printed parts.
- Proven experience in painting, specifically with 3D printed materials.
- Knowledge of paint mixing and application techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow blueprints and specifications accurately.
