Solution Architect
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Solution Architect to design and deliver scalable, secure, and business-aligned technology solutions. The Solution Architect will work closely with business stakeholders, project/product managers, development teams, and enterprise architects to translate business requirements into technical solutions while ensuring alignment with organizational architecture standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Architecture
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical architecture and solution designs.
- Create end-to-end solution architecture covering applications, integrations, data, infrastructure, and security.
- Develop architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and design documentation.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, maintainable, and cost-effective.
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with business leaders, product owners, and technical teams to understand business needs.
- Present architecture proposals and recommendations to stakeholders and governance boards.
- Provide technical leadership throughout project lifecycles.
Technology Leadership
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Define architecture standards, guidelines, and best practices.
- Guide development teams on design patterns, coding standards, and implementation approaches.
- Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical governance.
Integration & Cloud Architecture
- Design integration solutions using APIs, microservices, middleware, and cloud-native services.
- Lead cloud transformation initiatives across platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Ensure optimal performance, security, and resilience of cloud-based solutions.
Security & Compliance
- Incorporate security best practices into solution designs.
- Ensure compliance with organizational, regulatory, and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to mitigate risks and vulnerabilities.
Project Delivery
- Support project planning, estimation, and risk assessment activities.
- Provide technical oversight during implementation and deployment.
- Troubleshoot architectural issues and recommend corrective actions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- 15+ years of IT experience
- Strong experience in application architecture, system integration, and cloud technologies.
- Deep understanding of software development methodologies and SDLC practices.
- Experience with enterprise integration patterns, APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of security frameworks and best practices.
- Certification in cloud platforms (Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect).
