In addition to plant-based meal subscriptions and home delivery services, Copper + Cloves curates unique experiences such as supper clubs, yoga brunches, and catering events. The company also collaborates with chefs and wellness brands to inspire a deeper connection to mindful eating and good nutrition.
About the Role
We are looking for a Junior Chef - Commis I / Commis II to support daily kitchen operations across our locations (The Studio and the Café). This role is ideal for someone passionate about plant-based cooking who is eager to learn and committed to maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and cooking as per recipes and kitchen standards
- Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards
- Assist with prep work, inventory handling, and proper ingredient storage
- Follow kitchen SOPs for food preparation, hygiene, and safety
- Support catering, events, and special menus when required
- Help minimize food wastage and support cost control

- Strict adherence to hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness standards
- Punctuality and reliability in reporting for assigned shifts
