Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Executive to join our international shipping and logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business, building strong client relationships, and promoting our global freight forwarding and logistics services. Key Responsibilities
- Identify and acquire new clients for international shipping and logistics services.
- Promote sea freight, air freight, customs clearance, warehousing, and end-to-end logistics solutions.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and close sales.
- Follow up on inquiries and convert leads into business opportunities.
- Coordinate with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth shipment execution.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
- Represent the company professionally during client meetings and business presentations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in sales, preferably in freight forwarding, shipping, logistics, courier, or supply chain services.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong sales and business development mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
- Good command of English; knowledge of Hindi and regional languages is an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in international freight forwarding or shipping.
- Existing network of importers, exporters, or logistics clients.
- Understanding of Incoterms, import/export procedures, and international trade documentation.
