Job Summary
The Operations Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing tour operations to ensure smooth travel experiences for clients. This role involves handling bookings, coordinating with vendors, managing itineraries, and providing operational support before, during, and after tours
Key Responsibilities
Tour Operations & Coordination
- Plan and execute domestic and/or international tour operations
- Prepare detailed itineraries, vouchers, and travel documents
- Coordinate with hotels, transport providers, guides, and vendors
- Confirm bookings and ensure timely service delivery
Booking & Reservations
- Handle hotel, flight, transport, and activity reservations
- Negotiate rates and availability with suppliers
- Ensure accuracy of booking details and costings
Customer Support
- Act as a point of contact for clients before and during travel
- Handle special requests, amendments, and last-minute changes
- Resolve operational issues and emergencies efficiently
Vendor & Supplier Management
- Maintain strong relationships with hotels, DMCs, and vendors
- Monitor service quality and vendor performance
- Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain records of bookings, itineraries, and contracts
- Prepare tour operation reports and cost sheets
- Ensure compliance with company policies and SOPs
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, or related field (preferred)
Experience
- 2–4 years of experience in tour operations or travel coordination
- Experience with FIT, Group Tours.
Skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Knowledge of tour packages, destinations, and travel logistics
- Proficiency in MS Office and travel booking systems
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
