Job Title: Sr. Academic Counselor
About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and result-oriented Academic Counselor to handle student admissions for the academy. The candidate should have strong communication, counselling, convincing, and closing skills with the ability to convert student enquiries into admissions through proper follow-up and course pitching.
We are looking for candidates who have prior experience in EdTech, selling courses, and a good track record of achieving monthly targets. Preference will be given to candidates who have worked with Digital Marketing courses.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students regarding courses, career opportunities, and training programs offered by the academy.
- Explain course structure, fees, schedules, and academic services clearly to students.
- Convert student enquiries into admissions through effective counselling and follow-up.
- Handle course pitching and guide students through the registration process.
- Support students throughout the admission process until fee collection or first installment completion.
- Maintain regular follow-up with students regarding admissions and course updates.
- Achieve admission targets and work under pressure to meet monthly goals.
- Handle approximately 40–70 calls per day.
- Maintain proper records of student enquiries, admissions, follow-ups, and payment status.
- Coordinate with trainers and academic teams regarding student requirements and batch schedules.
- Provide demo classes and convert prospective students into registrations.
Eligibility & Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong counselling, convincing, and closing skills.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Prior experience in EdTech or course sales preferred.
- Preference for candidates with experience in Digital Marketing courses.
- Proven ability to achieve monthly targets.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
