About Vella Nova
Vella Nova is a growing fragrance brand looking to create premium, engaging, and visually appealing content across social media and digital platforms. We are looking for a creative Freelance Video Editor & Motion Graphics Designer with strong experience in Instagram Reels, short-form video content, and motion graphics.
Candidates with previous experience working with perfume, fragrance, beauty, cosmetics, skincare, luxury, fashion, or lifestyle brands will be highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit engaging and creative Instagram Reels, short-form videos, promotional videos, and social media content.
- Create visually appealing video content for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, and other social media platforms.
- Create motion graphics, text animations, transitions, visual effects, and animated elements.
- Edit product videos showcasing perfumes and fragrances in a premium and aesthetically appealing manner.
- Create content for product launches, promotional campaigns, offers, festive campaigns, and brand storytelling.
- Develop engaging and trend-driven Instagram Reels that align with current social media trends.
- Adapt and optimize videos for different social media formats, dimensions, and platforms.
- Work with raw footage, product shoots, UGC content, lifestyle videos, images, stock footage, and other creative assets.
- Create video creatives for both organic social media content and paid advertising campaigns.
- Stay updated with trending Instagram Reels formats, music, sounds, transitions, editing styles, and viral content.
- Collaborate with the marketing and creative team to develop fresh content ideas and concepts.
- Maintain consistency with Vella Nova's premium brand identity and visual style.
- Complete projects within agreed timelines and make revisions based on feedback.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Video Editor and Motion Graphics Designer.
- Strong hands-on experience in video editing and motion graphics.
- Mandatory experience creating and editing Instagram Reels and short-form social media videos.
- Strong understanding of Instagram content trends, Reels formats, hooks, transitions, music, and audience engagement.
- Experience creating content for Instagram and other social media platforms.
- Previous experience working with perfume, fragrance, beauty, cosmetics, skincare, luxury, fashion, lifestyle, or similar consumer brands is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar video editing software.
- Knowledge of motion graphics, typography, transitions, sound design, colour correction, and basic visual effects.
- Strong creative sense with an eye for premium aesthetics and visual storytelling.
- Ability to work independently as a freelancer and manage deadlines.
- Good communication skills and ability to take creative direction and feedback.
Portfolio Requirement
Candidates must share their portfolio/showreel along with their application.
The portfolio should ideally include:
- Instagram Reels and short-form videos
- Motion graphics projects
- Product videos
- Beauty, fragrance, cosmetics, skincare, fashion, or lifestyle content
- Social media advertisements
- Brand promotional videos
- Creative video campaigns
Candidates with previous work for perfume, fragrance, beauty, cosmetics, skincare, luxury, or lifestyle brands will be given preference.
Compensation
₹5,000 – ₹8,000 per month, depending on experience, portfolio, and quality of work.
This is a freelance/part-time engagement, with the exact scope of work and deliverables to be mutually agreed upon.
