About the Role
We are seeking a creative, analytical, and user-focused UI/UX Designer to join our growing product team. The ideal candidate is passionate about understanding user behavior, solving complex product challenges, and creating intuitive digital experiences that delight users while achieving business objectives.
As a UI/UX Designer, you will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, and cross-functional stakeholders to transform research insights into seamless user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and user-centric interface designs. You will play a key role in improving product usability, accessibility, and overall customer satisfaction across web and mobile platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, usability testing, and competitor analysis to understand user needs and behaviors.
- Create user personas, empathy maps, customer journey maps, information architecture, and user flows to support product strategy.
- Translate research findings into actionable design recommendations and product improvements.
- Design low-fidelity and high-fidelity wireframes, interactive prototypes, and user interaction flows using industry-standard design tools.
- Identify usability issues through user testing and recommend practical, data-driven solutions.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, Business Teams, and stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Validate design decisions through usability testing, user feedback, A/B testing, and continuous iteration.
- Ensure products follow accessibility standards, usability best practices, and responsive design principles.
- Maintain consistency across products by contributing to and following established design systems and UI guidelines.
- Participate in design reviews and effectively communicate design decisions through presentations and storytelling.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, Psychology, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience as a UI/UX Designer, UX Designer, Product Designer, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of User-Centered Design (UCD), Design Thinking, and Human-Centered Design methodologies.
- Proven experience conducting user research, usability testing, and customer interviews.
- Expertise in creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, journey maps, and information architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Figma, FigJam, Miro, Maze, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar design and collaboration tools.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to present and justify design decisions based on user insights and business goals.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX design processes, research methodologies, and product thinking.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing SaaS products, enterprise applications, mobile applications, or web-based platforms.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and usability best practices.
- Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Hotjar, Mixpanel, FullStory, or similar user behavior platforms.
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, responsive design principles, and frontend development constraints.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
- Exposure to Design Systems and Component Libraries.
