Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement of bought-out components for SPM, Robotics, and Automation projects.
- Sourcing and purchasing of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and automation components.
- Vendor identification, development, and performance evaluation.
- RFQ preparation, quotation comparison, and commercial negotiations.
- Follow-up with suppliers for timely deliveries.
- Coordination with Design, Production, Stores, and Project teams.
- Cost optimization and supplier management.
- Maintaining procurement records and ERP transactions.
Components Experience Preferred:
- Pneumatics (SMC, Festo, Janatics, etc.)
- Sensors and Safety Devices
- Servo Motors and Drives
- PLC, HMI, VFD
- Gearboxes and Motors
- Bearings and Linear Motion Systems
- Electrical Control Panel Components
- Robot Accessories and Automation Components
Requirements
- Diploma / BE in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field.
- 3-8 years of experience in Purchase of Bought-Out Components.
- Experience in SPM, Robotics, Industrial Automation, Machine Building, or Capital Equipment Manufacturing preferred.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Knowledge of ERP and MS Excel.
