Role: Assistant Production Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Assistant Production Manager to support daily
manufacturing operations for cookware and kitchen sinks. The candidate will assist in
production planning, manpower handling, process monitoring, quality control, and achieving
production targets while ensuring operational efficiency and safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing daily production activities for cookware and kitchen sink manufacturing.
- Ensure production targets are achieved as per planning and dispatch schedules.
- Monitor shop floor activities including pressing, welding, polishing, buffing, deep drawing, assembly, and packing.
- Coordinate with supervisors and operators for smooth production flow.
- Support implementation of process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce rejection.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and production specifications.
- Monitor machine utilization, downtime, and production efficiency.
- Coordinate with maintenance, quality, stores, and planning departments.
- Prepare daily production reports, MIS, and manpower utilization reports.
- Maintain proper discipline and safety practices on the shop floor.
- Assist in handling new product trials and process developments.
- Support training and development of operators and production staff.
Required Skills:
- Good knowledge of cookware and stainless steel sink manufacturing processes.
- Understanding of sheet metal fabrication, deep drawing, welding, polishing, and finishing operations.
- Strong coordination and team handling skills.
- knowledge of production planning and inventory management.
- Problem-solving and analytical ability.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen practices.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office.
Qualification:
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, or Metallurgical Engineering.
Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
