Role Summary
The L2 Cloud Network Engineer configures, troubleshoots, and supports the hybrid network estate end-to-end — routers, switches, and firewalls — with emphasis on Palo Alto firewalls (incl. PA-400 series), Cisco Meraki SD-WAN, network security, and cloud networking across Azure and OCI. This is a priority role for the engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, and firewalls, including Palo Alto NGFW (PA 400 series)
- Operate and support Cisco Meraki SD-WAN; manage LAN/WAN and VPN connectivity.
- Perform firewall rule management, network security, segmentation, and network access control (NAC).
- Coordinate telecom / carrier managed services and circuits (e.g., Verizon links) for provisioning, changes, and fault resolution.
- Build and support cloud networking (Azure VNet, OCI VCN, peering).
- Administer Infoblox DDI — DNS, DHCP, and IPAM.
- Monitor with SolarWinds NPM / Panorama; analyze latency, jitter, and packet loss.
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- 4–7 years in network engineering (L2)
- Hands-on configuration of routers, switches, and firewalls
- Palo Alto firewalls including PA-400 series; Cisco Meraki SD-WAN
- LAN/WAN and VPN; network security (segmentation, IPS/IDS, NAC)
- Telecom / carrier managed services and circuits (e.g., Verizon links)
- Infoblox DDI — DNS, DHCP, and IPAM administration
- Cloud networking (Azure VNet / OCI VCN); SolarWinds NPM, SNMP/NetFlow
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Panorama policy management
- Fortinet SD-WAN
- Load balancer support
- Terraform for network IaC
Qualifications & Certifications
- PCNSA and/or Cisco Meraki / CCNA certification preferred; Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
