Job Summary
Suprabha Protective Products Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Polymer Procurement Manager to lead the procurement of polymer raw materials for its manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in sourcing polymers, supplier development, commercial negotiations, inventory planning, and procurement strategy. The role requires close coordination with Production, Planning, Quality, Operations, and Stores to ensure uninterrupted material availability at optimum cost while maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Procure polymer raw materials such as PP, HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE, PET, Masterbatch, Additives, Reprocessed Materials, and other packaging-related raw materials.
- Develop and execute procurement strategies to achieve cost optimization without compromising quality and delivery.
- Identify, evaluate, develop, and manage domestic and international suppliers.
- Conduct commercial negotiations for pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and annual rate contracts.
- Monitor polymer market trends, crude oil price movements, price fluctuations, and industry developments to support purchasing decisions.
- Coordinate with Production Planning to ensure uninterrupted availability of raw materials.
- Maintain optimum inventory levels while minimizing carrying costs.
- Prepare procurement plans based on sales forecasts and production requirements.
- Work closely with Quality Assurance for supplier qualification, material approvals, and corrective actions.
- Handle vendor performance evaluations and implement supplier improvement initiatives.
- Ensure timely release and follow-up of Purchase Orders.
- Monitor supplier deliveries and resolve supply chain disruptions.
- Develop alternate vendors to reduce procurement risks.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, ISO standards, and statutory requirements.
- Prepare MIS reports related to procurement, inventory, savings, and vendor performance.
- Support cost reduction and value engineering initiatives through strategic sourcing.

Compensation
Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications, experience, and current industry standards.
Pay: ₹90,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
