About the Role
We are looking for a talented and reliable Architect / Residential Building Designer based in India to work remotely with our Australian team.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in residential housing design, excellent knowledge of Australian building standards and regulations, and the ability to produce high-quality 3D models, architectural drawings and client presentations.
You will work directly with our team and provide design support throughout the project, from initial concepts through to detailed documentation and client revisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design residential houses in accordance with Australian standards, regulations and building practices.
- Develop architectural concepts, floor plans, elevations, sections and detailed drawings.
- Prepare and modify designs based on specific client requirements.
- Create accurate and professional 3D models and architectural visualisations.
- Assist with residential renovations, extensions and new-home designs.
- Review existing drawings and develop them into detailed design documentation.
- Incorporate client feedback and prepare design revisions.
- Communicate with the Australian team regarding project requirements, design changes and deadlines.
- Provide direct design support for individual clients when required.
- Coordinate architectural designs with structural, engineering and other consultants.
- Ensure drawings and models are accurate, practical and suitable for Australian residential construction.
- Maintain organised project files and meet agreed project deadlines.
Australian Standards & Regulations
Strong knowledge or practical experience with Australian residential requirements is highly desirable, including:
3D Modelling & Software
Experience with two or more of the following is highly desirable:
- Revit
- ArchiCAD
- AutoCAD
- SketchUp
- Lumion
- Enscape
- Twinmotion
- Photoshop / Adobe Creative Suite
Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
