About the Role:
A System Administrator maintains and secures an organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring reliable performance of servers, networks, and systems.
Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and upgrade software, hardware, and networks.

Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve outages promptly.

Manage user accounts, Active Directory, permissions, and employee onboarding/offboarding.

Implement security measures like firewalls, backups, access controls, and disaster recovery plans.

Perform regular maintenance, including patching, monitoring LAN/WAN, and ensuring data integrity

Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field; certifications like MCSA or RHCE preferred.

2-5 years in system/network administration.

Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, Mac Ios (e.g., RHEL, Ubuntu), networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN), and scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python).

Experience with databases, patch management, intrusion detection, and security protocols.

Strong problem-solving, communication skills, and ability to train staff on new technologies.
