Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Relevant experience in WTP, ETP, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Process Industries, or Industrial Projects will be preferred.
- Candidates based in Mumbai, Thane, Navi Mumbai, or nearby locations will be given preference.
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in Instrumentation Engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review instrumentation engineering deliverables, including:
- Design Basis Reports
- Technical Specifications
- Instrument Data Sheets
- Instrument Index
- I/O Lists and I/O Schedules
- Logic Diagrams
- Cable Schedules
- Junction Box (JB) Schedules
- Loop Drawings and Loop Lists
- Review Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and develop detailed instrumentation documentation in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Prepare instrument data sheets for:
- Control Valves
- On-Off Valves
- Pressure, Flow, Level, and Temperature Instruments
- Other Field Instruments and Analyzers
- Perform and verify instrument engineering calculations, including:
- Orifice Plate Bore Calculations
- Control Valve Sizing (Cv Calculations)
- Flow Measurement and Process Instrument Selection
- Prepare, review, and validate:
- Cause & Effect Matrices
- Interlock Philosophies
- Logic Diagrams
- Functional Design Specifications
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of PLC, SCADA, HMI, and Industrial Automation Systems.
- Prepare procurement and vendor engineering documents, including technical specifications, datasheets, requisitions, and bid evaluation support.
- Review client specifications, technical documentation, and project requirements to ensure compliance with contractual and engineering standards.
- Prepare and review instrument installation and hook-up drawings for field instrumentation systems.
- Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, process, and project teams to ensure smooth integration of instrumentation systems.
- Review vendor documents, technical submittals, and drawings for compliance with project specifications.
- Identify and implement instrumentation revisions arising from equipment specification changes, process modifications, and client comments.
- Support site activities including installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of instrumentation and automation systems.
- Ensure compliance with applicable industry codes, standards, safety requirements, and quality procedures.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of process instrumentation and control systems.
- Hands-on experience with PLC, SCADA, HMI, and industrial communication protocols.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting P&IDs, loop diagrams, hook-up drawings, and control philosophies.
- Knowledge of control valves, field instrumentation, analyzers, and automation systems.
- Familiarity with engineering standards such as ISA, IEC, and relevant industry codes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering documentation tools.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in Water Treatment Plants (WTP) and Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP) will be highly preferred.
- Exposure to Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Process, or Industrial Projects will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple project deliverables and deadlines.
Pay: ₹14,235.59 - ₹53,594.77 per month
