Position Summary
The Senior Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and administration of the hospital, ensuring efficient service delivery, regulatory compliance, quality standards, and effective coordination across all departments. The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and operational excellence to support the organization's mission of delivering high-quality eye care services.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the hospital and administrative functions.
- Ensure smooth coordination among clinical, administrative, finance, HR, procurement, and outreach departments.
- Develop, implement, and monitor operational policies, SOPs, and quality standards.
- Manage institutional projects, CSR initiatives, and strategic partnerships.
- Prepare annual operational plans, budgets, and performance reports.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, hospital regulations, and accreditation standards (NABH/NABL or equivalent).
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement continuous process improvements.
- Lead recruitment, staff development, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Coordinate with government agencies, CSR partners, donors, and external stakeholders.
- Supervise procurement, inventory management, and facility maintenance.
- Identify operational risks and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare monthly MIS reports and present operational updates to senior management.
- Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, innovation, and patient-centered care.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Hospital Administration (MHA), Healthcare Management, MBA, Public Health, or a related field.
- Additional certifications in Healthcare Quality, Project Management, or Operations Management will be an advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 8–12 years of relevant experience.
- At least 3–5 years in a senior managerial or leadership role.
- Experience in a hospital, healthcare institution, NGO, or CSR-driven organization is highly preferred.
