About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and target-driven Area Sales Manager to lead business development and sales for Solar EPC Projects across Ernakulam. The ideal candidate should have proven experience in B2B sales, project sales, and channel development within the solar or renewable energy sector, with a strong ability to build long-term client relationships and achieve business targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.
- Identify and generate new business opportunities for rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with industrial clients, commercial establishments, educational institutions, hospitals, hotels, builders, developers, warehouses, manufacturing units, and government organizations.
- Appoint, develop, and manage channel partners, dealers, and referral associates within the assigned territory.
- Conduct client meetings, site visits, technical presentations, and commercial discussions.
- Coordinate with engineering, design, estimation, and project execution teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and market intelligence reports.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging business opportunities.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective relationship management and post-sales support.
- Represent the company at business meetings, exhibitions, and industry networking events.
Eligibility Criteria
- Any Graduate (MBA in Marketing preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Area Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, or Project Sales Executive.
- Experience in Solar EPC Projects, Renewable Energy, Electrical Projects, Industrial Sales, or Infrastructure Project Sales is mandatory.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and client management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
- Must possess a valid driving licence and be willing to travel extensively across Ernakulam and nearby districts.
- Candidates with an established network in the industrial and commercial sectors will be given preference.
