The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for design, branding, and visual storytelling, with the ability to create engaging digital and print creatives that align with our brand identity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop book layouts, covers, and illustrations for academic and non-academic publications.
- Design high-quality social media creatives, advertisements, brochures, flyers, banners, standees, and other marketing materials.
- Collaborate with the curriculum and content development teams to visualize and design engaging pages for students of various age groups.
- Create print-ready files ensuring proper alignment, bleed, margins, and high-resolution output.
- Develop creative infographics, diagrams, and educational illustrations to enhance learning experiences.
- Maintain brand consistency across all materials — books, brochures, and marketing collaterals.
- Adapt and format designs for digital publishing (eBooks, PDFs, and online learning platforms).
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting strict deadlines.
- Stay updated with current design trends, typography, and printing techniques.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Graphic Design / Fine Arts / Visual Communication or a related field.
- Min 6 months of experience in book design, preferably in the education or publishing sector.
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and other layout design tools.
- Strong understanding of color theory, typography, and page composition.
- Experience preparing designs for print production (CMYK, prepress, bleed, resolution standards).
- Ability to handle large content volumes and maintain design consistency.
- Creative mindset with excellent attention to detail.
- (Preferred) Knowledge of CorelDRAW and digital publishing tools (EPUB, PDF optimization).
