Job Summary:
A CAD Designer is responsible for creating accurate technical drawings, blueprints, and 3D models using computer-aided design software. They work closely with engineers, architects, and project teams to develop design plans, modify existing drawings, and ensure designs meet technical specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software.
- Convert sketches, concepts, and specifications into technical designs.
- Revise and update drawings based on feedback or project changes.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and production teams.
- Ensure designs comply with industry standards, safety codes, and regulations.
- Prepare layouts, assembly drawings, and technical documentation.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Maintain organized design files and project documentation.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in CAD software such as:
- AutoCAD
- SolidWorks
- CATIA
- Revit
- Fusion 360
- Strong technical drawing and drafting skills.
- Understanding of engineering or architectural principles.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Knowledge of dimensions, tolerances, and materials.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Architectural, or related field.
- Certification/training in CAD software preferred.
- Experience in drafting, design, or engineering support roles.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹21,000.00 per month
