Job Summary:
The Area Sales Manager is responsible for managing sales operations within the assigned territory, driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, managing distributors, leading the sales team, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets. The role involves developing sales strategies, building strong customer relationships, and maximizing market penetration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned area
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and profitability.
- Appoint, develop, and manage distributors, dealers, wholesalers, and key retail accounts.
- Lead, mentor, motivate, and monitor the performance of Sales Executives and Marketing Executives.
- Ensure effective market coverage and expansion into new territories.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and channel partners
- Analyze market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.
- Review sales performance regularly and implement corrective actions to achieve targets.
- Coordinate with production, logistics, and finance teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Plan and execute promotional activities, product launches, and marketing campaigns.
- Prepare and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports to management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, and sales processes.
- Conduct regular field visits to support the sales team and strengthen customer relationships
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Development, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
Experience:
- 2–5 years of experience in FMCG or food industry sales.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
