hiring for Senior Designer (Rugs & Made-ups)
The Shivalika Rugs is looking for a creative and buyer-facing Senior Designer to drive innovation in our Rugs and Made-ups sections. You will manage the entire process from trend research and innovative CAD creation to hands-on sample development and direct buyer pitches.
Key Responsibilities
CAD & Design: Create innovative, trend-driven CAD designs for rugs and home textiles using textile design software.
Sample Development: Work directly with the production floor to translate CADs into physical samples, experimenting with yarn, textures, and techniques.
Buyer Meetings: Lead design presentations and confidently pitch new collections to international and domestic buyers.
Process Management: Oversee the development cycle from concept to final sample approval.
