Position Description:
A Sales Manager (All Verticals) is primarily responsible for managing all LOBs such as agency, motor dealers/ OEMs & retail brokers and driving business through the same.
Scope of work:
- Achieve monthly topline targets
- Ensure diversification of portfolio into the motor, non-motor, health products
- Responsible for all LOB’s as retail preferred line of business products across the portfolio
- Responsible for recruitment of agents, dealership and retail brokers through various sources to ensure achievement of business targets
- Responsible for Achieving overall GWP (Gross Written Premium)
- Responsible for sustainable Profitability
- Responsible to maintain COR at budgeted levels
- Combined Ratio- Minimizing Loss & Cost of Acquisition
- Ensure month on month activation of agents as per targets set.
- Maintain relationship and driving business through OEM partner channels and Non-NTUs
- Recruitment of and relationship management with retail brokers as per target set
- Coordinating with other departments such as U/W, Claims, & Operations
- Responsible to maintain & enhance service levels provided to the clients thus ensuring sustenance of the existing business. This would be done through follow ups, coordination with other stakeholders for approvals, pay-outs etc. & other administrative activities for seamless working.
- Ensuring IRDAI compliance regarding licensing & commission payments to Agents.
- Support/guide the Agents/dealerships and brokers in all activities related policy services
- Train Agents/Channel partners/dealers/brokers on products, process and USPs of Company
- Identify the area of improvement & enhancing business opportunity
- Responsible for explorations & identification of new business avenues by way of cold calling, generation of referrals or business leads & networking through agents/brokers and dealers.
- Ensure month on month activation of agents as per targets set
- Managing daily reports and MIS pertaining to the branch
- Monitoring daily receipts, payment and other bank transactions
- Policy issuance/Cancellation/endorsement
- Resolve the discrepancies raised by the Underwriter and issue policies at branch level.
- Analysing and resolving the rejections of policy related issues
- Handling reconciliation
- Closely monitoring open receipts and recoveries and closing them on time
- Handle other operational work
Professional Experience: 2-6 years; GI Exp in mixed portfolio- Agency, Motor Dealer/OEMs and Retail Broking
Technology Known: Basic Excel
