About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Manager – Tender Documentation to lead our tendering, techno-commercial bidding, and bid submission operations. You will manage end-to-end bid documentation for large-scale bridge, flyover, and civil infrastructure projects, ensuring total compliance with client specifications and statutory procurement norms.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end tender lifecycle: identifying opportunities, reviewing NIT/RFP/RFQ documents, and evaluating technical and financial eligibility.
- Prepare, compile, review, and finalize all techno-commercial bid documents, pre-qualification requirements (PQ), and client queries.
- Scrutinize contract conditions, including General Conditions of Contract (GCC), Special Conditions of Contract (SCC), and Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
- Collaborate with Estimation, Design, Legal, and Finance teams to finalize pricing structures, bank guarantees, and bid bonds.
- Manage seamless online bid submissions across various central, state, and PSU e-procurement/e-tendering portals (e.g., CPPP, GeM, State PWD portals).
- Coordinate pre-bid meetings, draft technical/commercial pre-bid clarifications, and track addenda and corrigenda.
- Maintain complete tender records, bid data archives, and competitor intelligence for post-bid evaluations.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
- Experience: 10 to 12 years of hands-on experience in tender documentation and bid management with reputed EPC / Infrastructure / Civil Construction firms.
- Domain Focus: Mandatory proven track record of handling bids specifically for Bridge, Flyover, Elevated Corridor, or Highway Infrastructure projects.
- Technical Acumen: In-depth understanding of standard procurement documents, contract clauses (FIDIC, MoRTH, NHAI, CPWD, PWD), and rate analysis.
- Digital Proficiency: Advanced expertise with government e-procurement portals, digital signatures (DSC), MS Office (especially Excel), and PDF management tools.
- Soft Skills: High attention to detail, strict deadline orientation, and strong cross-functional coordination skills.
