Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end procurement of interior materials such as plywood, laminates, veneers, hardware, lighting, furniture, fabrics, marble, tiles, and décor items.
Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings.
Issue purchase orders and ensure timely procurement as per project requirements.
Coordinate with the design, project, site, and accounts teams for material planning and delivery.
Monitor inventory levels and prevent material shortages or excess stock.
Compare quotations, prepare cost analyses, and recommend the best procurement options.
Ensure purchased materials meet quality standards and project specifications.
Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, and purchase documentation.
Resolve vendor-related issues, delays, and quality concerns efficiently.
Required Skills
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
Knowledge of interior fit-out materials and market rates.
Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/procurement software.
Excellent communication, planning, and organizational abilities.
Strong analytical and cost-control mindset.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in the interior design or construction industry.
Experience handling multiple vendors and project-based purchasing is preferred.
