Key Responsibilities
- Machine Maintenance
- Maintain and troubleshoot production machinery such as filling machines, mixing vessels, homogenizers, manufacturing tanks, sealing machines, labeling machines, packing machines, etc.
- Attend machine breakdowns and restore equipment operation with minimum downtime.
- Identify recurring machine problems and implement corrective actions.
- Preventive Maintenance
- Prepare and follow the preventive maintenance schedule for all critical equipment.
- Conduct regular inspection, servicing, lubrication, tightening, alignment, and replacement of worn-out parts.
- Maintain preventive maintenance records and equipment history.
- Electrical Maintenance
- Maintain electrical panels, motors, switches, sensors, MCBs, contactors, wiring, lighting, and other electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and ensure safe operation of electrical equipment.
- Coordinate with external electricians or service vendors when required.
- Utility Maintenance
- Monitor and maintain plant utilities such as:
- Air compressors
- HVAC systems
- Chillers
- DG sets
- Water pumps
- RO/DM water systems
- Exhaust and ventilation systems
- Ensure utilities are available as per production requirements.
- Documentation & Records
- Maintain breakdown reports, preventive maintenance records, equipment history cards, and maintenance checklists.
- Maintain records of spare parts consumption and maintenance activities.
- Prepare maintenance reports and submit them to the reporting manager.
- Spare Parts Management
- Identify critical spare parts required for plant machinery.
- Maintain minimum stock levels of important maintenance spares.
- Raise purchase requirements for required spare parts after approval.
- Safety & Compliance
- Ensure maintenance activities are carried out according to plant safety procedures.
- Follow LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) and electrical safety practices where applicable.
- Ensure machines are properly guarded and safe before handing them over to production.
- Support audits and inspections related to maintenance and engineering.
- Vendor Coordination
- Coordinate with machine suppliers, AMC vendors, electricians, HVAC vendors, and other service providers.
- Monitor external maintenance work and verify completion of services.
- Production Support
- Coordinate closely with Production, QA/QC, Warehouse, and other departments.
- Attend urgent maintenance requirements during production.
- Minimize machine downtime and support uninterrupted production.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
