Digital Innovation and Post Harvest Fishery Literacy” project-based positions to implement an initiative to bridge the digital divide among fisherwomen and enhance their incomes, skills, and market participation through ICT solutions in post-harvest fisheries.
Key Responsibilites

Coordinate daily execution across all project clusters: Oversee day-to-day implementation of activities in multiple coastal clusters, providing leadership and guidance to field teams across states.

Manage project timelines and deliverables: Track progress against plans and ensure all project components meet scheduled milestones and outputs; promptly address any delays or challenges to keep the project on schedule.

Team leadership and communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between cluster-level teams and Programme Director, facilitating smooth communication and reporting of progress and challenges.

Stakeholder liaison: Engage with partner organizations, government agencies, and community leaders to maintain alignment with project objectives and ensure local support for the initiatives.

Skills: Proven project management and coordination skills – including planning, budgeting and monitoring. Strong leadership and team management abilities.

Excellent communication skills (oral and written) in English, with proficiency in local languages of project areas (e.g. Tamil; knowledge of Telugu/Malayalam/Odiya is a plus).

Other: Ability to travel to field sites across coastal districts as needed; good understanding of gender and community development issues; proficiency in MS Office and online collaboration tools.
Qualification:

Master’s degree or Ph.D with 5+ significant experience in a relevant field such as Rural Development, Social Work, Fisheries, or Development Studies.
Experience:

Experience: 5–8 years of experience in managing development projects or community programs with multi-site teams. Previous experience in coordinating ICT4D or digital inclusion initiatives is highly desirable. Prior work with fisheries or coastal community livelihoods programs or women’s empowerment initiatives is strongly preferred.
