Job Summary
4th Ved Agrotech is looking for a technically sound and detail-oriented Solar Design & Project Engineer to support the complete lifecycle of Solar EPC projects. The candidate will be responsible for site surveys, system design, technical proposal preparation, project planning, procurement support, execution supervision, commissioning assistance, and technical support to the sales team.
The ideal candidate should possess hands-on knowledge of rooftop and ground-mounted solar systems, electrical engineering principles, and project execution while working closely with sales, procurement, vendors, and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Sales Technical Support
· Visit customer sites with the Sales Team for technical discussions and site assessment.
· Conduct detailed site surveys and feasibility studies.
· Evaluate roof conditions, available installation area, structural suitability, shading analysis, and electrical infrastructure.
· Recommend the most suitable solar solution based on customer requirements.
· Assist the Sales Team during technical presentations and client meetings.
· Clarify technical queries from customers during the sales process.
Solar System Design
· Prepare optimized solar system designs for:
o Residential Rooftop Solar
o Commercial & Industrial Rooftop Solar
o Ground Mounted Solar Projects
· Design system layouts using AutoCAD or equivalent software.
· Calculate plant capacity, generation estimates, inverter sizing, module string design, cable sizing, and protection systems.
· Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLD), electrical drawings, and installation layouts.
· Optimize designs for maximum energy generation and cost efficiency.
Proposal & Tender Support
· Support the Sales Team in preparing techno-commercial proposals.
· Review Government and Private Tender documents.
· Prepare technical compliance documents.
· Estimate Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
· Coordinate with procurement for material costing.
· Assist in preparing competitive technical and commercial bids.
· Ensure compliance with tender specifications and client requirements.
Procurement Support
· Prepare detailed material requirements based on project design.
· Coordinate with procurement for vendor quotations.
· Review technical specifications of modules, inverters, structures, cables, transformers, switchgear, and BOS materials.
· Verify vendor technical documents before procurement.
· Ensure purchased materials comply with project specifications.
Project Planning & Execution
· Prepare project execution schedules.
· Coordinate with installation teams and subcontractors.
· Supervise installation activities at project sites.
· Ensure quality workmanship as per design standards.
· Resolve technical issues during installation.
· Verify project progress against timelines.
Testing & Commissioning
· Inspect completed installations.
· Assist in testing and commissioning of solar power plants.
· Coordinate with DISCOMs for net-metering approvals.
· Ensure successful synchronization and commissioning.
· Prepare commissioning reports and handover documentation.
Documentation
· Prepare project documentation.
· Maintain design records.
· Prepare BOQs, technical reports, and engineering calculations.
· Prepare As-Built Drawings after project completion.
· Maintain project files and technical documentation.
Coordination
· Coordinate with Sales, Procurement, Project Execution, Vendors, Customers, and Government Authorities.
· Support customer inspections and technical audits.
· Attend project review meetings.
Required SkillsTechnical Skills

Educational Qualification
· B.E./B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering (with Solar Experience), or equivalent.
Experience
· 2–5 years in Solar EPC Projects.
· Experience in Solar Design and Project Execution.
· Experience in Rooftop and Ground Mounted Solar Projects.
· Knowledge of Government Solar Projects is preferred.

Salary
- Best in Industry + Performance Incentives + Travel Allowance (as per company policy).
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
