Job Title: Jewellery Designer
Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Jewellery Designer to create innovative and aesthetically appealing jewellery designs. The candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing jewellery collections in line with market trends and brand requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Create original jewellery designs based on client requirements and market trends
- Develop sketches, illustrations, and CAD designs
- Select appropriate gemstones, metals, and materials
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure accurate execution of designs
- Modify and refine designs based on feedback
- Stay updated with current jewellery trends, techniques, and innovations
- Prepare technical drawings and specifications for manufacturing
- Ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of designs
Required Skills
- Strong creativity and design sense
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Rhino, Matrix, AutoCAD)
- Knowledge of gemstones, metals, and jewellery manufacturing processes
- Attention to detail and precision
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Jewellery Design, Fashion Design, or related field
- Certification in CAD designing is an added advantage
Experience
- 1–5 years of experience in jewellery design (Freshers with strong portfolios can also apply)
Preferred Requirements
- Experience in both handmade and machine-made jewellery
- Knowledge of current fashion and luxury trends
- Portfolio showcasing previous designs
