The Physician Assistant – Casualty supports emergency physicians in the assessment, stabilization, and management of patients presenting to the Casualty Department. The role involves assisting in emergency care, coordinating investigations, maintaining clinical documentation, and ensuring timely patient management.
- Assist emergency physicians in evaluating and managing patients in the Casualty Department.
- Monitor patient condition, vital signs, and treatment progress.
- Coordinate diagnostic investigations, procedures, and specialist referrals.
- Maintain accurate medical records, treatment notes, and clinical documentation.
- Support emergency procedures, resuscitation, and trauma care as required.
- Ensure timely communication with patients, relatives, consultants, and nursing staff.
- Facilitate patient admissions, transfers, and discharge processes.
- Adhere to hospital protocols, infection control guidelines, and quality standards.
- BAMS
- 0–5 years of experience in Emergency Medicine/Casualty preferred.
