We're looking for experienced Data Architects to join with one of Germany's leading tech companies. The role for German business hours — English only, no German required. If you enjoy designing scalable Azure-based data platforms end-to-end and shaping how enterprise data is modeled, governed, and processed, this is a great fit.
Experience: Proven track record as a Data Architect-Multiple positions with various Experience levels
What You'll Do
- Design scalable data platforms and data models
- Architect Azure-based data solutions across the full stack
- Build modern data processing architectures on Databricks, Apache Spark, and Delta Lake
- Define dimensional, relational, and NoSQL data models for enterprise use cases
- Embed data governance, security, and platform reliability standards
- Drive DevOps and CI/CD practices across the data stack
Must Have
- Experience in data architecture, including designing scalable data platforms and data models
- Knowledge of Azure-based data platforms: Azure Data Factory, ADLS, Synapse, Azure SQL, Event Hubs
- Experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, and Delta Lake
- Understanding of data modeling approaches (dimensional, relational, NoSQL)
- Familiarity with data governance, security, and platform reliability in enterprise environments
- Strong Python and SQL
- DevOps practices: CI/CD, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes / AKS
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
Good to Have
- Experience with German enterprise clients
- Comfort working German business hours
