Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Technical Expert – PM (Draw Frame Unit) to oversee preventive maintenance activities and ensure the efficient operation of draw frame machines within our textile manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in textile spinning operations, with a strong background in maintenance planning, troubleshooting, and equipment optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance activities for draw frame machines to ensure maximum equipment reliability and minimal downtime.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and operational faults affecting machine performance.
- Monitor machine performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Supervise and provide technical guidance to maintenance technicians, ensuring maintenance activities are completed safely and effectively.
- Coordinate maintenance schedules, equipment overhauls, and spare parts requirements to support uninterrupted production.
- Ensure compliance with company safety standards, maintenance procedures, and industry best practices while preparing maintenance reports and documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Textile Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in textile manufacturing, with hands-on expertise in draw frame machine maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance systems, troubleshooting techniques, and equipment reliability.
- Experience working with draw frame machines from leading textile machinery manufacturers is highly preferred.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to train and mentor maintenance teams.
- Must be willing to work as an expatriate in Tamburawa, Kano State, Nigeria.
