Position Overview
We are hiring a responsible and safety-oriented Cylinder Filling Operator for our gas manufacturing plant located in Greater Noida. The candidate will be responsible for safe filling, handling, inspection, and movement of industrial gas cylinders while following all operational and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate cylinder filling manifolds and related equipment safely and efficiently.
- Fill industrial and specialty gas cylinders as per production requirements and SOPs.
- Inspect cylinders before filling, including valve condition, leakage, hydro test validity, and identification markings.
- Ensure proper gas pressure and accurate filling quantity.
- Perform leak testing and basic quality checks after filling operations.
- Handle loading, unloading, segregation, and movement of cylinders within the plant area.
- Maintain daily production and cylinder filling records.
- Follow plant safety norms and use PPE during operations.
- Report equipment issues, gas leakage, or unsafe conditions to the supervisor immediately.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and cleanliness in the filling area.
- Coordinate with maintenance and quality teams for smooth plant operations.
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Knowledge of industrial gas cylinder handling and filling operations.
- Understanding of pressure gauges, valves, manifolds, and compressors.
- Familiarity with safety procedures in gas plants.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts and plant environments.
- Basic documentation and record-keeping skills.
Educational Qualification
- ITI / Diploma / 12th Pass preferred.
- Technical background in Mechanical / Production will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in Industrial Gas / Oxygen / Nitrogen / Specialty Gas plants preferred.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Safety-conscious and disciplined individual.
- Physically fit for plant operations.
- Team player with good coordination skills.
- Experience in handling Oxygen, Nitrogen, Argon, CO2, Hydrogen, or Specialty Gases preferred.
Salary & Benefits
