Telecaller – Job Description
A Telecaller is responsible for making outbound and handling inbound calls to customers to promote products or services, generate leads, provide information, or support customer inquiries. The role requires strong communication skills, persuasion ability, and a customer-focused attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make outbound calls to prospective or existing customers.
- Explain products or services clearly and effectively.
- Answer customer queries and provide accurate information.
- Generate leads and schedule appointments for sales teams.
- Maintain and update customer databases.
- Follow up on previous conversations and close sales when possible.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly call and sales targets.
- Record call details and outcomes in CRM systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Strong persuasive and negotiation abilities.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with CRM software.
- Ability to handle rejection and remain motivated.
- Good listening skills and patience.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
Preferred Qualities:
- Experience in telemarketing, customer service, or sales.
- Target-driven and self-motivated personality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
