Video Editor – Micro Episodic Content
Role Overview
We are hiring a fast, execution-focused video editor to handle high-volume micro-episodic content (1–1.5 min episodes) using a mix of VJ studio footage (raw shoots) and AI-generated visuals. This role requires someone who can go from raw footage → structured episodes → final delivery, not just polish pre-cut edits.
What You’ll Be Working On?
- 20-60 minute master content split into micro episodes
- Output will be Mobile-first, retention-driven videos
Each episode should have
- Strong hook (first 3–5 sec)
- Fast-paced storytelling
- Cliffhanger ending
Core Responsibilities
1. Rough Cut from Raw Footage (CRITICAL)
- Ingest and organize raw VJ shoot footage
- Select best takes and remove unusable content
- Create a clean rough cut aligned to script
- Structure content into logical flow before fine edit
2. Editing for Retention
- Tight cuts (no dead air)
- Maintain high pacing throughout
- Enhance hooks and endings
- Keep viewer engagement across episodes
3. Episode Structuring
- Clear start (hook)
- Engaging progression
- Cliffhanger ending
4. AI Visual Integration (CRITICAL)
- Insert AI-generated visuals meaningfully
- Match visuals with dialogue context
- Maintain consistent visual style across episodes
5. Subtitle & Timing Execution
- Sync subtitles accurately
- Ensure mobile readability
- Apply styled captions (not plain subtitles)
6. Sound Design
- Add background music based on tone
- Use sound effects for emphasis
- Maintain clean, balanced audio levels
7. Basic DI (Color Correction & Look)
- Perform basic color correction:
- Exposure
- White balance
- Skin tone consistency
- Apply a clean, consistent look across episodes
- No heavy cinematic grading, just professional polish
Required Skills
Must-Have proficiency in:
- Adobe Premiere Pro or Adobe After Effects
- Ability to handle raw footage → final output independently
- Strong sense of pacing and storytelling
- Experience in short-form / social media editing
- Basic color correction (DI fundamentals)
- Familiarity with AI video tools (Higgsfield, Google Flow, Runway, etc.)
- Basic motion graphics (text animations, overlays)
- Understanding of retention-based editing
Work Style Expectations
- Can handle 4–6 contents per week
- Comfortable with repeatable workflows and templates
- Fast turnaround with minimal supervision
- Open to feedback and quick iterations
What This Role Is NOT
- Not cinematic film editing
- Not long-form storytelling
- Not experimental editing
This is high-efficiency, system-driven content production
Editing Test
During Interview in person, Candidate must edit a 1-minute sample from raw footage that includes
- Rough cut selection
- Hook optimization
- AI Visual generation
- Subtitles
- Basic sound design
- Basic color correction

Final Note
We are not hiring: “Creative-only Editors”. We are hiring: Editors who can take raw footage and turn it into structured, engaging, repeatable content at scale
Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per year
