Job Summary
CyberBee Academy is looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Cybersecurity Trainer to deliver high-quality cybersecurity training to students and professionals. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to make complex cybersecurity concepts easy to understand through practical demonstrations and hands-on labs.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver classroom and practical training sessions in Cybersecurity and Ethical Hacking.
- Teach networking fundamentals, Linux, Windows security, web application security, and penetration testing.
- Conduct hands-on labs, Capture The Flag (CTF) exercises, and cybersecurity simulations.
- Prepare presentations, assignments, assessments, and lab manuals.
- Mentor students for internships, certifications, and career opportunities.
- Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity threats, attack techniques, and defense strategies.
- Develop and improve training content based on industry trends.
- Conduct cybersecurity awareness workshops, seminars, and webinars.
- Evaluate student performance and provide technical guidance throughout the learning journey.
- Collaborate with the academic team to enhance course quality and student engagement.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, Routing, Switching)
- Linux and Windows Administration
- Ethical Hacking & Penetration Testing
- Web Application Security (OWASP Top 10)
- Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT)
- Active Directory fundamentals
- Basic Cloud Security knowledge (AWS/Azure is an advantage)
- Excellent presentation, communication, and mentoring skills
Hands-on Experience With
- Kali Linux
- Nmap
- Wireshark
- Burp Suite
- Metasploit Framework
- Nessus
- OWASP ZAP
- Hydra
- John the Ripper
- SQLMap
- Nikto
- Git & GitHub (preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as:
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
- CompTIA Security+
- eJPT
- PNPT
- OSCP (Preferred)
- Cisco CCNA (Preferred)
Experience
- 1–3 years of industry or training experience in Cybersecurity.
- Freshers with exceptional technical knowledge, lab experience, and strong presentation skills are welcome to apply.
