Position: Infection Control Nurse (ICN)

Job Summary
The Infection Control Nurse is responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating the hospital's Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) program in accordance with NABH standards. The role focuses on reducing healthcare-associated infections (HAIs), promoting patient safety, conducting surveillance activities, and ensuring compliance with infection control protocols throughout the hospital.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct surveillance of healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) and prepare infection control reports.
- Monitor compliance with hand hygiene, biomedical waste management, sterilization, and disinfection practices.
- Conduct infection control audits, environmental rounds, and risk assessments.
- Coordinate Infection Control Committee (ICC) meetings and maintain related documentation.
- Investigate infection outbreaks and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Provide infection control training and awareness programs for healthcare workers.
- Monitor antimicrobial stewardship activities in collaboration with clinicians and microbiologists.
- Ensure compliance with NABH standards, hospital policies, and statutory regulations related to infection prevention.
- Review and update infection control policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Monitor occupational health and safety practices, including needle-stick injury management and post-exposure prophylaxis.
- Analyze infection trends and present findings to hospital management.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs.
Qualifications & Experience
- B.Sc. Nursing / GNM with valid nursing registration.
- Certification in Infection Control preferred.
- Minimum 2–5 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in ICU, OT, or infection control.
- NABH hospital experience will be preferred.

Job Summary
The Quality Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring the hospital's Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with NABH standards. The role ensures continuous quality improvement, patient safety, risk management, accreditation compliance, and organizational excellence across all clinical and non-clinical departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate NABH accreditation activities and ensure continuous compliance with standards.
- Develop, implement, and monitor quality assurance programs throughout the hospital.
- Conduct internal audits, departmental assessments, and compliance reviews.
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Quality Indicators, and Patient Safety Indicators.
- Facilitate Root Cause Analysis (RCA), incident reporting, and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Coordinate quality committees, patient safety initiatives, and management review meetings.
- Monitor patient feedback, complaints, and satisfaction surveys and implement improvement measures.
- Ensure documentation control, policy management, and quality records maintenance.
- Conduct staff training on quality management, patient safety, and NABH requirements.
- Lead risk assessment and quality improvement projects across departments.
- Prepare reports and presentations for hospital management and accreditation bodies.
- Coordinate with department heads to ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.
- Promote a culture of continuous quality improvement and patient-centered care.
Qualifications & Experience
- Master's Degree in Hospital Administration (MHA), Healthcare Management, Nursing, Quality Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in hospital quality management, preferably in an NABH-accredited hospital.
- Certified NABH Internal Assessor/Auditor will be preferred.
- Strong understanding of NABH standards, quality tools, and patient safety practices.
