Scintilla Preschool is looking for a compassionate and experienced Special Educator who can support children with diverse learning and developmental needs in an inclusive and nurturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized support for children with special needs
- Plan and implement appropriate learning and intervention strategies
- Support children in communication, behavior, social, and academic development
- Work closely with teachers and parents to monitor student progress
- Maintain observation records and progress reports
- Create a safe, positive, and supportive learning environment
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Special Education preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with children with special needs
- Strong communication and observation skills
- Patient, empathetic, and child-centered approach
- Experience handling autism, ADHD, speech delay, or learning difficulties preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of inclusive education practices
- Ability to create individualized learning support strategies
- Good collaboration and parent communication skills
