- Pre-operative Preparation: Preparing the OT for surgery, including arranging surgical instruments, sanitizing the area, and ensuring anesthesia machines are functioning correctly.
- Assisting Surgical Team: Passing instruments to surgeons during procedures, assisting in patient positioning, and helping with surgical drapes.
- Anesthesia Support: Supporting anesthetists with equipment, monitoring devices, and preparing drugs.
- Sterilization and Infection Control: Managing the sterilization of instruments, disposing of hazardous medical waste, and performing room fumigation to maintain a sterile field.
