ABOUT THIS ROLE
We are looking for reliable and technically grounded Machine Operators to join our manufacturing team at our factory in Srappilly, Maneed, Ernakulam. You will set up, operate, and maintain production machinery — ensuring consistent product output, quality compliance, and plant safety during each shift. This is a shift-based, hands-on role with excellent opportunities for career progression within a growing, ISO-certified food ingredients company.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery as per standard operating procedures
- Regulate process parameters and carry out pre-shift checks, start-up, and shut-down procedures
- Ensure consistent product quality in line with CK’s specifications and production targets
- Identify and report machine anomalies or breakdowns to the Factory Manager promptly
- Follow all GMP, food safety, PPE, and factory safety protocols at all times
- Coordinate with the QC and maintenance teams and participate in shift handovers
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (preferred); ITI in a relevant trade considered
- Minimum 1 year of machine operating experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Ability to read and interpret machine gauges, meters, and control panel indicators
- Basic understanding of mechanical or electrical systems and safety protocols
- Willing to work in rotational shifts including nights and weekends
- Prior experience in food processing, dairy, or chemical manufacturing is an advantage
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented
